Iran museum hosts actress marriage contract

The marriage contract of the late Iranian actor is dedicated to the Iran Cinema Museum.

The marriage contract of the late Iranian actor, Nikou Kheradmand, is dedicated to the Iran Cinema Museum in conjunction with her birth anniversary.

The deed, which was signed by the actress and her husband in 1979, is a valuable addition to the museum. Her marriage portion included only a mus'haf or a physical bound volume of the Quran and rock candy.

Kheradmand, the sister of actress Ahou Kheradmand, began her art career in radio in 1959 before taking up voice acting and dubbing in 1961.

She made her film debut with Varuj Karim-Masihi’s ‘The Last Act’ (1990).

Some of her films include ‘The Empty House’  ‘The Passengers’, ‘The Secret of the Matthiola’ and ‘The Proposal for 50 Million’.

Kheradmand has also appeared in series such as  ‘Apartment’,  ‘The Cuckoo's Song’, ‘The Friendship Agency’, ‘The Magic Coat’ and 'The Cherry Garden'.

Her appearance in ‘The Last Act’ as well as ‘Plaything'  won the actress two Crystal Simorgh awards for Best Actress in a Supporting Role from Fajr International Film Festival.

She passed away at the age of 77.
